Why is my dog's stomach hard, drinking lots, vomiting, and lethargic?

The signs you are describing can be caused by dietary indiscretion, pancreatitis, bloat, or a number of parasitic infections results in nausea. Some of these conditions are potentially life threatening, so I recommend having Bullet seen by a vet as soon as possible. They can perform bloodwork and x-rays, as well as give Bullet any supportive care he may need. I hope all is well!

I am sorry to hear Violet is not doing well. I would recommend you take Violet to your vet for a checkup at this point. She has some concerning symptoms and would benefit from a thorough physical exam. Your vet may also recommend X-rays and bloodwork depending on what they find. She may have a gastrointestinal problem, an infection, even liver or kidney disease could cause the symptoms you have noticed.

Poor Luckie, she sounds sick. If she is nauseous, that could cause her to lick her lips and drink lots of water. Being lethargic and not moving around can mean she has a fever or is in pain. Luckie may have an issue inside the GI tract (intestines) causing nausea or trouble with how her organs, particularly kidneys and liver are functioning as the cause for these symptoms. I recommend having Luckie examined by a veterinarian as soon as possible. They may recommend x-rays to look at the GI tract and/or blood work to evaluate her kidneys and liver. Good luck!

A couple of dieases come to mind with the symptoms you are describing - diabetes and Cushing’s disease. Both of these can cause excessive drinking, a distended abdomen, and lethargy. The irritability Breezy is displaying is probably because she is just not feeling like herself. I would recommend taking her to a vet as soon as possible. Your veterinarian will probably recommend running some lab work and possibly doing some X-rays to determine what is going on. Until you are able to get her to the vet try to keep her as calm and comfortable as possible. Offer her plenty of fresh water as long as she is not vomiting it up. The wet nose isn't a problem, but it is a concern that Rockie isn't eating and vomiting whenever he is drink gin water. He also sounds lethargic. He could have a severe GI illness, may have eaten something rotten, could have a foreign body, or could have pancreatitis. His symptoms indicate he is quite sick, and he needs to see a vet now. He should be examined by a vet to determine the cause, especially if he is lethargic. He could have an infection, parasite, pancreatitis, kidney disease, liver disease, endocrine disease, obstruction/foreign body. Your vet can run labwork and take xrays to help diagnose and prescibe medications to treat. He may need fluids to prevent dehydration and medications to control the vomiting.

Hi there. Fank's symptoms indicate severe abdominal pain. This could be due to a hernia, a blockage or infection.
