Why does my dog have a hard pimple-sized spot on her eyebrow?

Hi! That can be an abscess (collection of pus inside, pretty similar to a pimple) or it can be other skin related issue. Keep your eyes if it's painful, hard and If it is growing. Try to find any other similar wound in other parts of the body. I recommended take to your vet, so they can have a good look, clip and clean. Your dog may need some antibiotic, or it might goes off by its own. Good luck! Remember, If its growing, just take to your vet.

This will likely require sedation because of the location of the growth. Sometimes a biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis. Some older pets with endocrine disease develop comedones which are keratin deposit in open pores (i.e. Blackhead). However, the skin around a comedone is not swollen. You may have caused inflammation by attempting to remove it yourself or it could be infected. The best thing to do is leave it alone and follow up with your veterinarian if the selling fails to resolve.

If Gabbana doesn't seem bothered by the spot you may just want to keep an eye on it for now. However if the area is itchy, changing in size or appearance rapidly, bleeds or oozes discharge, or is just bothersome to your pup, having a vet take a look at it is best. Keeping Gabbana from scratching or pawing at it with the use of an Elizabethan (cone) collar may also help it heal and prevent further injury.

The area in the picture looks like an area of what I would call excoriation or skin irritation usually seen when a dog scratches an area extensively due to itching. The yellowish area can be a pimple or what we call a pustule (a pimple containing pus). Pimples and pustules are usually raised lesions, extending up from the skin. It's a little difficult making out much detail in the picture. Sometimes damaged areas of skin turn yellowish like that and are usually flat in appearance, not raised up like a pimple/pustule.
