My dog has been dealing with allergies this week, and though I’m not sure this is related, I am now seeing a knot on the top of her head that I never noticed before. Could the bump be related to her allergies? It’s hard, could she have bumped her head?

I am sorry to hear about Rudy! It looks like she could have a folliculitis/dermatitis here on her face. This could be the result of a bacterial infection, a fungal infection (such as ringworm), or parasites. I would recommend a visit to the vet to examine the area. They may recommend testing including cytology to check for bacteria or yeast, a fungal culture to test for ringworm, or a skin scrape to test for mites. They can then prescribe what medications are needed such as antibiotics and special medication to decrease inflammation/itching if they suspect it is secondary to allergies.
