Hello, & thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Urine can sometime be discolored by something in Luna's diet. A treat, or even a supplement. But the green color could also indicate the breakdown of red blood cells, possibly due to a urinary tract infection. If you think Luna may have eaten something odd, this will pass, but if the green persists, please have Luna examined by your vet at your earliest convenience.

Greenish coloration to the urine can be a sign of blood or protein in the urine. That is abnormal so I recommend an exam and urinalysis to determine the cause. Then they can prescribe the appropriate medication. They may also check her kidney function and perhaps do an X-ray or ultrasound of the bladder to look for stones. The urinalysis I’d the first step though. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to help you care for Latte.
