My dog has green discharge from her vulva after spay. Is this normal?

Is it normal for my dog to have green discharge from her vulva 10 days after spay?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Harley!

No, it is not normal to have green discharge from the vulva after being spayed. She could have a uterine stump infection (the part of the uterus that is left), a urinary tract infection or a vaginitis. Harley should be seen by the Vet that did the surgery today before the weekend. They will likely put her on antibiotics to see if that takes care of it.
