Here are some you want to avoid: Avocado Onion Garlic Chives Apple cores and seeds (apple slices are ok) The green parts of a tomato (red parts are ok) Cherries (seeds, leaves, and stems are toxic) Apricots (seeds, leaves, and stems are toxic) Grapes and raisins Wild mushrooms (grocery store mushrooms are ok) Currants Green potatoes (cooked, ripe potatoes are ok) Rhubarb I find that many dogs like baby carrots, green beans, and peeled apple slices. As for home made foods, your friend is also correct they typically aren't good for dogs. Angel should not be given chocolate or sweets as these can be toxic to dogs. A small amount of raw carrots, spinach, or celery can be given but I would avoid giving raw potatoes. Peels, seeds, stems, or leaves of citrus fruits could cause neurologic concerns, but a small amount of fruit is unlikely to cause any major issues. Auggie may experience some minor gastrointestinal upset (such as vomiting or diarrhea), but should not be significant. If he does experience some GI upset, consider offering a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken and white rice for a few days before transitioning back to his normal diet.

The almond milk could cause some intestinal distress but the other ingredients shouldn't be a problem. Honestly, I would not give a significant amount of anything (more than a few licks) on the basis that it could upset the nutritional balance of the rest of her diet.
