Is corn a poor quality ingredient in dog food? What about digestion?

Is corn poor quality nutrition for dogs? I'm feeding hills science diet id digestive care and i notice it has corn in it. I've always thought corn was a poor quality ingredient. Please explain. Thanks!

No, corn is not a poor quality ingredient, it is a good source of carbohydrate. Corn is also rich in vitamin C, magnesium, B vitamins and carotenoids, contains very little fat, and is a good source of fiber.
