Are common food additives like dextrose and E-numbers safe for pets?

Is any of these ingredients of a product harmfull for horses and dogs?? Ingredients: dextrose, starch, maltodextrin, anti-caking agent E470b, thickener E414, aroma, coating agents E904 and E903, dye E153. Thank you very much.

No , none of these ingredients are known toxins but it also depends what type of product was made of out them. Without knowing exactly what type of product your dog/horse ate it is impossible to be sure that they will be ok.

    None of these ingredients raise any red flags here. A lot of these are additives and preservatives with the exception of dextrose which is a sugar.
