Is human fruit, veggie, herb powder with maltodextrin safe for my dog?

Garlic and onions both have the potential to be toxic, but amount and size of your animal contribute greatly to the toxicity level. The ASPCA poison control is a great resource for toxic chemicals, plants and foods if you would like more information. My suspicion is the dog treats have a very small amount of garlic and it is probably for flavor. I still find it interesting that it would contain it at all and if you were nervous about it I simply would not administer any more of the treats. Some of my favorite treats that I recommend for pet owners are things like dehydrated chicken or turke. Just simple strips of meat that don't contain any preservatives or any additional ingredients. I also like carrots and green beans depending on what your dog is willing to eat. Like with most pet food I try to encourage people to find things with simple, clean ingredients. Just like with our groceries, there are a lot of choices out there and not all are as healthy as the manufacturer would like us to believe.

Here are some you want to avoid: Avocado Onion Garlic Chives Apple cores and seeds (apple slices are ok) The green parts of a tomato (red parts are ok) Cherries (seeds, leaves, and stems are toxic) Apricots (seeds, leaves, and stems are toxic) Grapes and raisins Wild mushrooms (grocery store mushrooms are ok) Currants Green potatoes (cooked, ripe potatoes are ok) Rhubarb I find that many dogs like baby carrots, green beans, and peeled apple slices. Neither dogs nor cats are herbivores. Cats are obligatory carnivores, so feeding them fruit and vegetables is not advised as their gut is to short to digest plant material effectively . Dogs can have some fruit and vegetables, but, again, they are carnivores, and therefore fruit and veggies would naturally only be consumed as part of eating a stomach with content. You can give a dog veggie treats such as boiled carrot and green beans, or a piece of apple. Any other vegetables or fruit are not advised. Best is to feed your dog a commercial complete diet for the size and age of your breed/dog.

They are not balanced for dogs and you could end up overdosing Max on certain vitamins/minerals that can cause a lot of problems. It is recommended you use supplements made for dogs. Hope this helps. For this reason, I do not recommend using this as we do not know if it could interact negatively with the chemotherapy. Cernitin pollen extract is the extract of rye grass pollen. Rye grass decreases swelling (inflammation) by interfering with certain chemicals. It might also slow down prostate cancer cell growth. It is unlikely that there are detrimental side effects in dogs. Consumption of any plant material may cause vomiting and gastrointestinal upset for dogs, so this would be something that could happen.
