What are the chances of a flea infestation developing on your clothes, say your pet has fleas and you got a flea egg on a piece of clothing after petting your dog and then put in your drawer? my dog is on advantage. The vet said my dog did not have any signs of fleas on him as well. This is for my OCD

There is no chance. The flea would not be able to complete its life cycle in your clothing drawer. To be sure, vacuum everywhere, wash all bedding in hot water and use an area treatment such as Knockout ES around the house. Keep your dog on a flea preventative for at least 3 consecutive months, preferably year round.

It can happen, as fleas can feed on dandruff, skin, and other organic human waste that can be found on clothing. To be safe, I would wash that item of clothing and the other items in the drawer in hot soapy water.
