Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Arielle. I'm sorry she is sick. Yes, it could be possible a dog has a fluctuating fever while on antibiotics. Fevers can be caused by viruses as well as bacteria, and antibiotics do not treat viruses, thus leading to the continued presence of a fever. If you are concerned about her, I'd have her seen by a vet. I hope this helps!
