Why is my dog falling over, can't walk straight, and acting weird?

This could even due to weakness from perhaps getting into something he should not have. Hi there! Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! The clinical symptoms you describe are concerning for something serious going on with Daisy. She could be acting like that from perhaps severe dehydration and hypovolemia (lack of volume in her circulatory system) from so much diarrhea and recent history of anorexia and not drinking water. She could have also being exposed to some toxin that is affecting both her gastrointestinal and neurologic systems. I highly recommend you take her to a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible. Good luck!

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Without seeing Trixie it’s hard to be sure what’s going on. It sounds like vestibular disease. This is an inflammation of a nerve that runs near the ear. When this happens the pet has a head tilt, can’t stand or walk well and is dizzy. I would recommend keeping her calm and away from anything dangerous, like stairs, until you can get her to the vet. You don’t need to give her any medications and it’s ok if she doesn’t eat for a couple of days. Keep water close by. Good luck and kisses to Trixie!

Please, take Princess to your local vet right away. Acute loss of balance should be always treated as an emergency. She may have been intoxicated, the signs could be due to brain dysfunction or ear problem, which should be treated without delay.
