Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Male | neutered | 11 years and 2 months old | 30 lbs
My pug has had a small bump/growth on his right upper eyelid on the lash line for several months. It has never seemed to bother him or cause any redness, irritation, or discharge. Recently, he has started blinking more, tearing, and sometimes holding that eye partially shut more than the other. There's still no discharge or obvious redness. It might be slightly larger in size than before, but I can't tell for certain. Are there any treatments I can try at home before his vet appt next week?

Purulent diacharge (pus), can be associated with infections, allergic inflammation, or even injury like a scratch to the cornea. I would encourage you to have him evaluated by your veterinarian soon, (next day or so), but it may not be an emergency (next few hours). Best of luck and I hope he improves soon.
