My dog's eye has discharge since changing food. Is he allergic?

We changed food when we became a member and I have noticed in one eye of my 2 year old Heinz 57 that it has stuff coming out at first I thought it was when he would wake up and now I noticed it more often do you think his allergic to the new food he doesn't seem to like it

If your pet Batman has eye discharge that is yellow/green then that is a sign of conjunctivitis which can be caused by an environmental allergy but it is more likely caused by a scratch/ulcer on the eye itself and not allergy related at all. I would recommend taking him in to your vet to get the eye examined. He will likely need to be placed on a topical eye antibiotic ointment to get this to heal well.
