My dog's ear was bitten. Does the stitched wound dressing look okay?

It seems a small trauma, which is healing fine and at the moment (looking at the pic) I cannot see any sign of infection. Disinfection can be done at home with very diluted hibiscrub or betadine or salted water baths. Buster collar may be useful as well to avoid any scratching (if any). Poor guy. Bite wounds often are left open in small areas to allow the infection to drain out before it then heals over by 2nd intention healing. I would only suggest covering this with a loose t-shirt for now. As long as there are no signs of infection (yellow or purulent discharge with a foul odor) and no large gaping openings (typically >2 cm), then it should be ok to wait until Monday to get him checked again by your vet. Based on the picture I don't see any majorly open wounds there. You can safely flush this area with sterile saline from your local pharmacy to help keep infection at bay since the wounds are slightly open. But again, dog bite woulds can be left often for the first few days to allow draining to occur before things heal up on their own with granulation tissue that the body will make itself. These all look like superficial grazes in the pictures provided and I would keep them clean with saline or dilute iodine disinfectant. Monitor closely for any heat, pain or swelling around any of the wounds which would indicate infection requiring antibiotics from your vet. I recommend you keep them separated to prevent further injury in the future

Ear tears are pretty common. They often look worse than they are and can bleed, a lot! Clean it up really well and if she is scratching put a cone on her so she doesn't make it worse. You can likely treat this yourself if it's minor but if you think it needs stitching or she needs pain killers or get infected then Off to the vet.

While I do not see evidence of a bite in that picture, that is still possible and an examination would be needed to determine that for sure. Because it is small and mild, I think it would be ok to treat at home. You may apply a thin film of triple antibiotic ointment on the affected area twice daily for 5 days. If this does not improve or resolves, have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. There is a very good chance that this will improve quickly. That could be a consequence of the bite (scar tissue) or potentially the site is getting infected. Bacterial and fungal infection can cause that presentation. I would recommend to monitor it, and if not resolving, a check up, appropriate disinfection and eventually antibiotics (oral, topical or in a shampoo formulation) are needed to solve the problem. In the picture, it looks ok. It will be hard to keep Mika from licking at it given its location, so just keep an eye on it for now. If there are signs of infection (redness, swelling, pus, warm to the touch), then she will need to see a vet. Best of luck.
