My dog is drooling a lot. Could it be from eating spicy food?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 1 year and 6 months old

Im not sure what is wrong with my dog but she is drooling a lot and i am starting to get worried at first i thought it was because she got into a bag of spicy chips but she has been drooling all day and i dont know what to do can you help?

It could be that Mia is drooling because she is nauseous. If she does get into a back of spicy chips, that may have upset her stomach leading to the nausea and subsequent drooling. I would withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. Hopefully that should help the drooling, but if the drooling doesn't stop, gets worse, or she develops other signs such as vomiting, anorexia, diarrhea, or lethargy, then I would take her into the vet.
