My dog drank water with a charger and blue gunk. Should I be worried?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed | 9 years and 11 months old | 11 lbs

I know this is super weird, but long story short, one day I came home to find the tip of my charger in my dogs water bowl (the water bowl had some soggy dog food in it). There was some blue gunk on the tip of my charger and a little amount in the water bowl too. I kicked the water bowl under the bed to keep my dog from getting to it, but forgot about it. Now over a week later my dog sniffed it out and I caught her taking a drink out of it! I pulled her away as soon as I could but I'm so worried!

Hello. I would not stress too much about this. The biggest concern would be mold from the soggy food. If you notice any tremors, twitching or seizuring I would have her seen by a vet immediately, however otherwise if she is happy, eating/drinking, and behaving normally I would just monitor her at home.

I think she will be ok. If she has not shown any signs of stomach trouble, or gagging or similar signs of problems, there is probably nothing to worry about. Usually those cleaners are not so toxic anymore, at worst, they are caustic. If that cleaner had been caustic, then your dog would have shown problems right away. (drooling, gagging, etc.)

Moldy food can produce serious problems, like uncontrolled twitches, lack of balance, hypersalivation or even seizures. It usually takes 1-6hrs after ingestion of mold for the symptoms to develop. If Indy is acting normal and he is not showing any of these symptoms, you should monitor him at home. However, if he starts acting strange, if he develops muscle twitches and problems with walking you should take him to your vets as an emergency.

My dog ate garbage, is panting, weak, and shaky. Should I worry?

Hi, I would recommend that you have her checked over as symptoms related to toxins can take a while to show and once you have symptoms the condition is much more difficult to treat. In particular I am worried about mouldy food. I have had a dog that suffered prolonged seizures and his temperature was very high for a long time and sadly did not recover. Another dog last week was fine for a day after eating a rotten chicken, but then went down hill and had severe signs of central nervous system disease and twitching because of the toxins. My dog chewed a phone cord. Is she okay from electric shock?

You can check her mouth to see if you see any burns in there, but you would have known right away if she was electrocuted from chewing this cord. I suspect she may be ok, and I would feed her. My dog ate tiny pieces of an unplugged cord. Should I be worried?

He should be ok, these are tiny pieces, even if he ingested them this isn't likely to cause any damage. as the chord wasn't plugged either there is no danger of electrocution. obviously you need to be careful as if he chews other cables that are plugged this could be fatal.
