Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Dog drank diluted CLR out of toilet. Was vomiting , gave compazine and activated charcoal , hasn’t eaten in 5 days, drinks water, seems lethargic, but no vomiting, drooling or diarrhea, but o overt dumps. This happened one week ago

Consider an exam and diagnostics with your veterinarian since conservative treatment has not improved the condition. Blood work can assess major organ function. Endoscopy may diagnose damage done to the esophagus or stomach by the CLR. Supportive care (IV or subcutaneous fluids, gastric protectants and parenteral nutrition) may be indicated until a diagnosis is reached or until your dog recovers.
