Licking or ingesting some vomit likely won't hurt Bruno, so blood work isn't really necessary. If he ingested enough to show visible signs of illness such as staggering, confusion, or weakness, then bringing him to your vet for care is best, however long term effects from a single ingestion are unlikely.

Unfortunately as far as my knowledge goes there is no blood test available for such intoxication, especially after more than 24 hours since ingestion. Those values (urea and creat) could have been caused by mild dehydration. If so, the kidneys are fine. If the urine is dilute and watery, then yes I am worried more about kidney damage. Talk to your vet about checking the concentration (USG) of the first urine of the morning. Best of luck to you and Max!

The problem is the alcohol. Signs of alcohol toxicity are drooling, retching, vomiting or attempting to vomit, weakness, elevated heart rate, a distended stomach, collapse, coma hypothermia and in severe intoxication cases, death. Alcohol enters the blood stream very quickly, and once it is in the blood stream the only thing you can do is wait it out, ie wait until it is out of his system. Keep Cooper confined and watch him closely. If he shows any of the signs above or if he gets white mucus membranes, he needs to be taken to a pet ER. If you live close to a pet ER, you can take him there and the vets can make him vomit and thus get rid of the rest of the vodka still in the stomach and they may give activated charcoal to neutralise the alcohol in the stomach.

Do not delay, take him to your veterinarian or to the nearest veterinary ER. If he has been poisoned, he may need supportive care. Blood work may be able to determine if it is a metabolic issue as opposed to poison, but there is no way to test for specific poisons.

A little bit of beer on his paws shouldn't cause a problem especially as you cleaned them. But you're right to be concerned as alcohol poisoning can occur in pets. But as big as he is a slight exposure shouldn't be an issue.
