My Yorkie is dragging her back legs and not eating. What's wrong?

Hi my name is jacqueline and i have a little yorkie named chichi who's my world lately she hasnt been herself shes loves to play with her brother goku run and jump around eat alot basically shes a very active fur baby which is what lead me to here she hasnt been herself lately she cant walk she drags her back legs she ate a lil yesterday and drank water pooped and peed but today she doesnt really want anything she does have a messed up nail i dont know whats causing this i just want her better

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Chichi. I recommend that she a veterinarian today if she is unable to walk properly. Dragging her hindlimbs can be a sign of severe back disease. If this is the cause and it goes untreated, permanent damage can occur. Her veterinarian will examine her and may recommend x-rays of her spine. Based on these results medications can be started if necessary. In the meantime, do not give her any over-the-counter pain medications as these can be toxic to dogs. I hope this information helps!
