My dog has diarrhea, stomach pain, loud noises, and meds aren't working. Help?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | spayed | 7 years and 9 months old | 140 lbs

I have the San Bernard. She is with diarreia for 5 days and she’s felling a lot of pain in her stomach. Her stomach is make a lot noise. I gave the medicines for diarreia but it’s doesn’t work! What a need to do?

It sounds as Raika is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an antibiotic course and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.

Abdominal pain in dogs is different than in himans, you can't give her meds without knowing what is causing this. withhold food for 12 hours, but if she is not better by then or if she seems worse you need to take her to the vet in order to get it checked, it could be serious.

Poor Luka! If she is in worse pain, yes take her into a vet immediately. I'm wondering if they have checked her uterus. I see that she isn't spayed, and a pyometra (a life threatening infection of the uterus) could be causing her symptoms. Please take her back into a vet now. Best of luck.

Koda is beautiful! I recommend getting her in to see your vet for an exam and ask about specialty bloodwork from Texas A&M University's veterinary GI lab. They run tests to check for pancreatic enzyme levels, nutritional malabsorption and a range of other problems related to the gastrointestinal tract. Additionally, I have known some pets with chronic diarrhea do very well on a commercial raw diet, available from specialty pet stores like PetsMart and Petco.

My dog has diarrhea, vomiting, pain. Can I give human medicine?

Unfortunately, I can't recommend any specific treatment because there are many different possible causes. He could have intestinal parasites, an intestinal obstruction, gastroenteritis, or an endocrine or metabolic disease (issue with internal organs that is making him feel overall crappy, rather than something specifically wrong with the intestinal tract). Additionally, many medications for humans aren't safe for our pups. He really does need to go to the vet for further testing and treatment. You can also talk to the vet about giving him anti-anxiety medications for future visits to help with his anxiety. I hope he's feeling better soon.

My dog has diarrhea, vomiting, gurgling stomach, not eating. Urgent?

Poor girl. These symptoms are suggestive of an internal illness (i.e. bacterial infection, kidney disease, liver disease, etc) for sure, and therfore its best to get Jace seen by your vet as soon as they open. If you can get her seen within the next 12-24 hrs, then that should be suitable enough. Continue to monitor her gums (should be nice and pink, if pale then it is an emergency), breathing (shortless of breath is an emergency) and energy level (severe lethargy and unresponsiveness is an emergency) for now. I hope that Jace is able tot get seen and can recovery from her illness soon! Best wishes and take care.
