My dog is dazed, stumbling, and peeing after waking. Is it seizures?

It sounds suspicious for a seizure . Kayla could have a seizure for a few reasons. The most common is epilepsy but toxins, liver disease or brain tumors can also cause seizures. I would recommend to take him into the vet asap for a neurologic exam and bloodwork. This will help to narrow down what caused this. Keep him quiet until his visit and encourage him to drink water. Urinating in an episode like you are describing is usually caused either by a seizure, which often occurs at night, or by a 'syncopal' or fainting episode from heart disease. There are other causes as well however these would be the two that I would be most concerned about. With it being at night, a seizure is more likely, as fainting from heart disease usually occurs when they get excited and are more active. The reason they pee themselves in these episodes is because they lose consciousness. I would recommend having Riley seen by your vet. They will listen to his heart as well as maybe check some bloodwork and maybe check his urine. Best of luck with Riley.

Since Cali was having neurologically abnormal repeated behavior, seemed unaware of your presence, and lost control of her bladder, it seems likely that she had a seizure. One of the most common causes of seizures in a 3 year old dog is epilepsy, but other possibilities include liver diseases (portosystemic shunts), toxin exposure, or brain tumors. If another episode occurs, take a video to show to her vet. There is no need to rush to a vet after a one time occurrence, as she will likely not be started on any seizure control medications. However, should Cali have another seizure within a 24 hour period, she should go to an ER vet because this would be considered a "cluster seizure".

The signs you are describing sound like Coco may have had a seizure. She may have been confused afterwards, which is known as the post ictal period, and can consist of her seeming a little "off". Seizures can be caused by epilepsy, brain inflammation or tumors. I recommend keeping a close eye on Coco, and try to film any future episodes to show your vet. I hate to hear that Peyton had some sort of an episode. Certainly urinating on himself is suspicious of a seizure type activity, although other neurological abnormalities could cause similar signs. I recommend to have him seen by his veterinarian today if possible. The doctor will check his neurological reflexes to try to determine the cause. If it was a seizure, this can be caused by epilepsy, electrolyte imbalance, liver disease or cancer. The signs you are describing are post ictal signs, quite severe but sometimes seen after seizure episodes (one or multiple). If the signs are not resolving in the next 8 hours I would recommend to have her checked by your veterinarian. Phenobarbital levels may need to be checked as well (it is a single blood test) to understand if the blood concentration of this drug is adequate. In case of multiple seizure episodes, especially if lasting more than five minutes each, acute treatment is needed (discuss it with your veterinarian).

It sounds like Misha may have had a seizure, as that would cause her to be out of it for some time, urinate herself, and take time to return to normal. She may have hit her head when she fell off the sofa, and that could have caused the seizure. Please keep in mind that without seeing her in person, I cannot say for certain if she had a seizure, but it sounds like it could be from your description. Because of her young age, the fact she fell off the sofa, and the possibility she could have had a seizure from head trauma, she should see a vet immediately to be safe.
