Shihtzu Terrier - skin has visibly changed darker under his belly in the last few days. Skin colour on top remains pink, no signs of ticks/ fleas, recently bathed. Is this something to be concerned about. Recently came off steroids and antibiotics due to skin irritation potentially due to pollen as advised by vetinarian.

It is common for the skin to pigment (or turn dark) as they get older. I don't usually get concerned unless there are other symptoms such as itching, licking, redness or flaking. These things can cause the skin to turn dark because of chronic irritation.
