My dog has painful, worsening cuts above eyes. Should I see a vet?
It's difficult to see what happened here, but it does look like a wide and inflamed wound. I agree that it looks like a cut. If it was noticed suddenly, then this would be my top suspicion. It may be fresh enough to get stitched, so it's best to bring her into the vet, because this could otherwise take a long time to heal.
If it came on gradually, then I would be concerned about a very bad skin condition like fungal infection, parasite infection, autoimmune disease or skin cancer. Although, for it to happen in multiple spots like that would be rare, it would be worth taking her to a vet within the next day or two to get it checked out.
Here's what you can do for now:
1) Clip the hair around the area and expose all of the sore skin.
2) Wash/spray the area with warm, clean water (no soap or other antiseptics) for at least 5 minutes at a time. Do this at least twice a day.
This will help to treat and prevent infection.
I hope that helps and Saphira gets better soon.
