Hi, my dog was running in the bush when we realize he cut his paw pad. ( this happened yesterday). I’ve been cleaning it putting antibacterial ointment and adding a bandage to it. I’m just not sure if I need to seek my local vet for stitches or some sort.

Deep cuts many requires stitches. Finn needs to see the veterinarian as he will likely be put on antibiotics. If it doesn't require stitches, it will require multiple bandage changes and apply a salve to encourage wound healing. You must make sure Finn does not lick at the cut as this will make it worse and he should wear an elizabethan collar at all times. You must also keep the pad/bandage clean and dry at all times. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
