Dog crying, vomiting bone pieces after eating. What's wrong?

Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Female | unspayed | 8 lbs

I have a dog and he is crying and throwing up. I am so worried. He had a bone and in he vomit he is throwing up little pieces of it. I am so worried, please help me!

Poor Nico! It sounds like the bone has made him sick, and I would be very concerned that a piece of it could be stuck in his GI tract or perforated his GI tract. Given he is crying and throwing up with pieces of bone in it, I feel it's best he sees a vet immediately. He needs an exam and x-rays to see if the bone is causing an obstruction. If it is, he will need surgery to remove it. Please take him into an ER vet clinic; if there isn't one in your area, there will be a vet on call for emergencies. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website. Best of luck!
