Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 1 year and 1 month old
Panda had surgery 7 days ago his chin wound is red round the edge and has a black scab running the length the stitches are holding OK on his chin the neuter wound is dry and normal pink colour should I take him to vet or just see if redness goes away the chin wound gets rubbed and wet when eating and drinking due to Elizabethan collar

Oh poor panda! This looks like a serious wound that is really infected. Unfortunately i do not think it is going to heal on its own. I would have your vet take a look at it. Your vet will be able to properly clean it, see if he needs stitches, and get him started on some oral antibiotics. You can put a cone collar on him to prevent him from rubbing at his face and pulling scabs off. I hope this helps!
