Why does my dog chew toys on me or put them in my lap? Is it play or dominance?

It may be much too warm for him in your bed. He feels secure in your presence and therefore he will sleep near you. He apparently also feels secure enough to chew on his toys while touching you. However I think you should not let him do that as it may be a sign of disrespect as in "haha, I can chew my toy on you and you don't dare take my toy from me!"

Taking the toys could be a sign of dominance but it also could be jealousy. This may cause Lucy anxiety but if its normal behavior between the two, it might not bother her at all. She sounds like she is active and social, she's just a nutty female :) Neutering could help with dominance because he won't have the excess testosterone, but dominance isn't only from hormones, it is learned. If he is always fed first, greeted first and given treats first he has been taught he is the alpha. It is normal to wrestle and as long as no one is hurt, it isn't aggressive. It may sound aggressive, with growls and teeth showing, but usually they bite softly and it is just play. It is possible that the behavior Koba is exhibiting is to exert his dominance or because he would like you're other dog to play with him but Koba is being to rough. In these types of situations it is usually necessary for the older dog to set boundaries for Koba - i.e. if Koba bites his ear your other dog barks/growls at Koba, letting him know that this behavior is not ok. If your older dog is not demonstrating any of this assertive behavior to help Koba set boundaries one thing you could try would be redirecting him. If he begins to play rough and you are concerned that he is hurting your other dog remove Koba from the situation. I would recommend disciplining him to let him know this behavior is not ok. Resource guarding over toys or other items is very common in groups of dogs, and is even considered to be fairly normal behavior by many trainers. Most dogs don't like to share valued possessions with other dogs! This is a very difficult thing to address successfully through training, so in most cases the simplest option is to simply keep toys, sticks, etc. picked up and put away when groups of dogs are playing to avoid any issues :)

Congratulations on adding Teddy to your family! Puppies can be frustrating at times. The behavior described is consistent with a frustrated puppy. It is not unusual for a puppy that is frustrated to bark, growl or completely ignore things that you say. He is not trying to exert dominance he just may not really understand what you are asking. Your best bet for getting Teddy to follow your directions is to have a consistent training plan and use high-value rewards. When you tell him no, he doesn't really understand what you want him to do. You will likely have better luck telling him what you would like him to do. For example, if you want him to walk nicely on a leash it's better to teach him a look command rather than just yank on the leash to get him to go where you want. Using a look command will tell him what you want him to do which is keep his eyes on you rather than what's going on in the neighborhood. This is more likely to be a significant dominance and defiance behaviour and needs immediate action to prevent escalation. It is important to start basic obedience training (sit, wait, come) by everyone in the house and also to define clear boundaries so he can understand and predict what is acceptable. In order to help create clear rules for him i recommend nit allowing dogs onto human beds or chairs and preferable out of bedrooms also

When dogs have a toy or item they especially love, they can whimper as a sign of excitement when they are carrying the toy around. Bella may be putting it your face as a sign that she wants you to play with her and it. I suggest playing with her and it when she comes up to whimpering to you :-)
