You're right. The berberine is the only ingredient that would cause me a little concern. But the dose to reach significant toxicity is really high. You may see hypersalivation, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. If these symptoms last longer than 24 hours or if Hops seems to be getting progressively ill, she should definitely get checked out. Otherwise I think she will be fine. Now that she has done this once, she may be prone to trying again, so make sure to keep ALL medications and supplements locked away from her! Have a great day!

Hi, Gabapentin overdose can cause sedation and drowsiness and its effect should gradually disappear over the next 12 hours. If Bunty is excessively sedated I would ring your closer vets to have her checked over. Hopefully she has not eaten it !

I would check the rest of the packet to see if he has eaten any others - simply having one in his mouth but not ingesting/swallowing it would not cause any significant effects (other than oral irritation if he chewed into the bitter center) but if such a small dog did consume whole tablets there would be a potential for toxic effects and rapid decontamination would be recommended

Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach, If the ingestion was recent (in the last hour) then you can take PeeWee to a clinic to induce vomiting to try to get it out. Otherwise just monitor. It should be ok but you might see vomiting, diarrhea, GI upset overall. Any other abnormal activity then get PeeWee to a vet right away for supportive care. This is a potentially toxic dose and I would recommend seeing an emergency veterinarian. Alprazolam (Xanax) can cause sedation and disorientation or hyperexcitability. At high doses it can effect the blood pressure or lead to muscle tremors. They may be able to identify the pill type based on the appearance (they have a large database) and give you more information on what to do/monitor for with you pup. They can be reached at (888) 426-4435, and there is a fee for their services, but this would be the safest course of action.

The concern here is the Tylenol, which is toxic to dogs. Yes, it is pointless to induce vomiting now, it's too late. Tylenol does cause irreversible liver damage, so I think it's best to get DiNozzo checked out by a vet immediately to be safe. Please take him into a vet now. Best of luck.
