My dog can't pee, is bloated, in pain, and not eating. Is it a UTI?

Lola sounds ill, and it's quite concerning that she is squatting constantly to pee with nothing coming out. That can be a sign of bladder stones, and if these bladder stones are blocking her urethra, it is a medical emergency. A blocked urethra can lead to the bladder rupture. She could also be suffering from a UTI. Panting is a sign of pain in dogs, so if Lola is panting, I would believe that she is in pain. Is she trying to urinate but can’t? If so this could be an emergency and she should be seen immediately. It is also possible that she is dehydrated and doesn’t have much urine to produce. Yes, I would definitely take Kahlua into an ER vet. I would be very concern that if she is trying to urinate and nothing is happening that she may have bladder stones. Those can cause a blockage in the urethra, which is fatal without treatment. It could also be a UTI, but as I said, it's quite concerning that she is trying to urinate with nothing coming out. Please take her into a vet right away.

Poor girl! One of the most common culprits for this issue is a urinary tract infection. Many times, dogs are reluctant to urinate when it's painful, so they either try to hold it, have accidents in the house when they can't hold it, or they dribble and urinate more frequently. Pain and discomfort associated with urinary issues can commonly cause them to eat less or skip meals. Likewise, kidney infections, bladder stones, and other issues, can cause similar problems. At this point, as long as Molly is able to pass urine and is still acting normally, I think you can wait to see you vet first thing tomorrow. If she's unable to urinate, lethargic, or vomiting, I think you should take her to an ER vet today. A vet will need to collect a urine sample, so be sure not to let her urinate on her way into her appointment! Unfortunately, there really isn't anything else that you can do at home at this point aside from taking her outside frequently and offering plenty of fresh water. I hope that she feels better soon!

Oh my. These symptoms are alarming and very concerning. Jojo could either have a serious cystitis (inflamed bladder), raging UTI, or even a bleeding disorder is possible here. Please take her to your local vet asap for an exam, urinalysis and immediate treatment based on her lab findings.
