I accidentally bumped my Chihuahua's head on the bed. Is he hurt?

It was an accident and you didn’t cause any harm. I don’t think his memory was affected. He just might not have heard you or was ignoring you as dogs do! Puppies are very resilient so Pi is probably fine. He would show a problem right away if he was injured. He certainly can get injured from falling so I would make sure he isn’t able to fall off the bed again or from someone’s arms. He could get a head or neck injury or break a bone so please be careful. Yes, I think he’ll be fine. Luckily puppies are very resilient and many minor injuries heal quickly in young animals. If there was a serious head injury he would be lethargic, not responsive or not eat or drink normally. He may have some discomfort on his head for a day or so but probably no lasting issues. If Ellie landed on her feet and is walking and acting fine, then it would be ok to monitor for now and bring her to the veterinarian if you notice any lameness or any abnormalities like loss of appetite or something like that. However, if she landed on her head then it would be best to have her examined by a veterinarian to make sure she is ok since she is so small. Good luck and have a good night! If he’s acting normal I wouldn’t be worried. The most I would be worried about is a broken bone but it sounds like that didn’t happen. I think Rudy will be fine. Give him lots of kisses for me!!

The fact he is walking normally now likely means nothing is broken. I would rest him for 2-3 days. If the limping returns take him to the vet, otherwise he should be fine!
