Incidentally noticed this on her right front leg last night. She’s fine and not even noticing it. Could this be a bug bite or pimple? My husband says he noticed a similar one about 2 months ago on her thigh that seems to have vanished. Does it warrant a trip to the vet?

Hello, it can indeed be just an insect bite. If Jake does not seem immediately bothered by it then you could just continue to monitor to see if it gets bigger. Some insect bites can cause irritation and sores, which should become apparent soon after the bite.
Alternatively, this could be something such as a pimple. Likewise, as long as it is not getting bigger or as long as he is not developing other bumps then Jake should be ok. If you do note any worsening changes, then have Jake evaluated by his veterinarian. Hope this helps and best of luck.
