My new dog has bright red blood in his stool. What should I do?

I got a 3 yr old American bull dog from my friend he is 3 years old. I have had him for about a week and I noticed he has bright red blood in his stool what do I need to do?

You can add a canine probiotic to the diet that can help restore nirnak bacteria. You can feed boiled chicken and rice and yogurt also. A sample should be checked for parasites as he may need to be dewormed. Sometimes this can be caused by an infection, diet changes or stress from a new home and routine. If vomiting starts it he stops eating he needs to be seen immediately
