Should I breed my male and female dogs? How to stop unwanted mating?

I have both male and female spitz dogs in my home . Should i breed them? How can i control their mating till 24months as they live in the same house?

My best advice would be not to breed them and to have them neutered. This ia mainly for their own health as neutering prevents many hormone related diseases such as some types of cancer and infections like pyometra. It is also associated with a reduction in hormone related behavioural issues.

If you do choose to breed them there would be no way of preventing unwanted matings until they are 24 months unless you completely separate them.
