What breeds are in my dog? He's a shepherd mix, but what else?

I think he certainly could have some hound in him. I also think his face and ears look a little like a Great Dane, although he's not that large. I definitely can see the German Sheoherd. First you should know that breed identification by looks alone has been proven to be inaccurate 75% of the time. If I had to guess, I suspect a pit bull type breed and German Shepherd. However Boxer and maybe hound could also be present. If you want to know for sure, look at one of the breed tests such as Wisdom Panel. Beautiful dog!

Hi there. Of course, breed guessing is really just that, guessing. However based on the coloring and the ears I think he has some Shepherd in him. However, he also appears pretty small so maybe he is mixed with a smaller breed as well. He is definitely cute. Zeus is one handsome guy! He certainly appears to be a Pit Bull mix, but it is impossible to precisely determine the other breeds in his mix simply by sight. Based on the pictures, I would say that there is potentially Australian Shepherd in the mix. I would guess a shepherd mix of some sort. These mixed breeds are always difficult to identify all the breeds in. You might consider a DNA test to help identify the various breeds.
