My puppy got boiling water on eye, part of eyeball looks missing. Vet?

It looks like he has experienced some type of trauma to that eye and hsca wound. He should see your veterinarian immediately for an eye exam and at minimum will require prescription topical eye medications to allow this to heal without getting infected and causing more serious problems. I cannot say that surgery is needed from the photo, but it may be a possibility.

If you rinsed her eye out and it didn't help then she should be examined by a vet to determine the cause. She could have a corneal ulcer/scratch, infection, foreign material in her eye, etc. Your vet can stain her eye to determine if there is an ulcer or scratch and then prescribe medications to help treat. She may need an antibiotic and/or an anti-inflammatory to help treat the problem.

Cloudy eyes should always constitute an emergency vet visit. Since you know there is possible trauma, there could be an abrasion or corneal ulcer, something stuck under an eyelid, a hole in the cornea, or severe inflammation. There are several eye tests the vet may recommend after examining the eye to determine the most appropriate treatment.

It is a good idea to have King Blue checked out by a vet. It could be an allergic reaction or something stuck under the eyelids. Try to keep him from scratching his eye with his paws since he may damage the cornea. The vet will do a thorough exam and may prescribe eye ointments or anti-inflammatories for the swelling.

Poor Piper! I'm sorry to hear that she hurt her eye - what rotten timing! Without seeing the injury, it's hard to say whether this is something that will cause permanent damage or not. Minor eye injuries such as corneal scratches are relatively common in dogs, and usually heal up very well with antibiotics and anti-inflammatories with no long-term effects. But if the eye has actually been punctured, or if any of the internal structures have been damaged, this could potentially result in long term problems or even vision loss in the affected eye. I will caution you, however, that we can't make any specific diagnosis without an actual in-person exam - we can give a general "gut impression", but you will still need to have the puppy's eye evaluated by a veterinarian in person to get a definite answer. I'm not sure from your question if Piper is still with her breeder or if you have already picked her up, but I would definitely recommend taking her to a vet right away to have the eye evaluated - her breeder should do this if she still has the puppy. The vet can tell you after the exam what treatment will be needed and whether any long-term issues are expected.
