My puppy got boiling water on eye, part of eyeball looks missing. Vet?

Hi a few weeks ago my puppy got a drip of boiling kettle water on what i thought to be hes face but have just discovered like theres a piece of the glossy bit on hes eyeball missing should i see avet .. he didnt yelp or anything but im panicing now ive just noticed it

I recommend flushing the eye with sterile saline eye wash or cooled boiled water, occasionally objects or stray hairs can become trapped on the surface of the eye causing such patterns. If it does rinse off then yes, you should see a vet straight away as french bulldogs are prone to painful corneal ulcers which can result in significant pain, discomfort and scarring if left untreated
