Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered
Dog has ulcerative lump/hole located in whiskers. He came in from a couple of minutes outside withbthis hole bleeding. It scanned over but 2days later he came in again with it bleeding. 2-3 yr old male black/white blue heeler/Shepard mix.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This could be a benign or malignant growth. This could even be just an infection. There is no way of knowing for sure without an examination though this represents a reason to seek veterinary care. This is usually determined with an examination and a fine needle aspirate (FNA) or a biopsy. Treatment depends on the findings up to that point. I recommend you have Coon evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck and have a good night!
