My dog bit a waterbug. Could he be sick from pest spray?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 9 years and 6 months old | 7 lbs

We have aunts for some reason and waterbugs sometimes. Butmy mom sprayed around the house outside and some places inside and my dog came in contact of a waterbugs he didn't eat it but he did bite down on it trying to kill it. Should my dog be okay?

Snikcers should be fine. I would be more worried if he came in contact with an area that was sprayed. We can't even be sure that this particular bug even contacted the chemical. To be safe you can always rinse his mouth out well with water and wash his face.
