My dog bit a mouse but didn't eat it. Does he need a vet checkup?

There are some diseases that can be transmitted from a mouse to a dog, but it's not that common. Dogs eat rodents and birds all the time and rarely have any problems. I would just make sure that she received a leptospirosis vaccine and that she gets a dewormed in the next month or two. Otherwise, she should be fine.
