My 3-year-old dog's back legs click when straightened. Is it normal?

Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Female | spayed | 3 years and 5 months old | 3.2 lbs

whenever i straighten my dogs back legs i can feel them click, there is no noise. she doesn't seem to be in any pain and is only three.

I wonder if Pom Pom might have luxating patellas, which is an inherited problem that causes the kneecap to pop in and out of place. Sometimes a click could come from the hips as well. Even though she doesn’t seem painful it would be best to have your vet examine her - sometimes there are therapies that would be helpful to prevent problems like arthritis later.
