Pet's info: Dog | American Staffordshire Terrier | Male | neutered | 2 years and 11 months old | 60 lbs
My American Staffordshire terrier jumped on the counter a ate about 2 pounds of raw ground beef. It’s been a couple of hours. He hasn’t throw up and is just laying on the couch. Breathing is fine. What should I look out for

You may see some stomach upset (vomiting or diarrhea). If she develops either, withhold food for 24 hours. Allow small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte. Resume feeding a bland diet in small, frequent amounts. Begin with 1 tablespoon of food every hour and gradually increase the amount if there is no vomiting. Feed bland until symptoms resolve then transition slowly to the regular diet.
Monitor for lethargy, persistent vomiting or diarrhea, loss of appetite or abdominal pain. These are symptoms that should be addressed by your veterinarian.
