My dog ate a raw chicken wing whole, will he be okay?

Chicken wings with bones can cause gastritis or irritation of the stomach, and occasionally the bones can become lodged in the esophagus, stomach or intestines and cause an obstruction. Often a wing will be digested and the dog will have no problems whatsoever. As long as Chewy is otherwise healthy with no history of medical problems I think you can monitor him for vomiting, diarrhea or a decrease in appetite over the next few days.

This is a fairly common problem, unfortunately - dogs are good at getting into things that they shouldn't eat!
