At the least he will likely have sift poo for a day or 2 as oil acts like a laxative. However the fat in the oil may cause him to develop pancreatitis which isn't a very nice condition. If he is vomiting or dull I would seek a vet immediately.

The mineral oil could help with anything that is lodged in her tummy, as long as it can pass but you probably need to give it quite regularly. Be careful also that she swallows it properly and not to push it down her trachea and chest if your are using a syringe. My honest advise is to have Baya checked over, search for a vet that works Saturdays or an emergency vet clinic. I am worried that if she is left untreated with something serious Monday will be too late. Severe gastrointestinal impaction and constipation or diarrhoea can result from the ingestion of sand. A check up is needed to confirm this clinical suspicion and treat appropriately. If you see any of these symptoms in the next 24-48hrs, you should take Rayne to your local vets as an emergency. However, if she chewed the plastic into small pieces, most likely she will pass it with her stools and she will not show any worrying symptoms at all.
