My small dog ate milk chocolate pretzels. Is it toxic? What to do?

It really depends on the type of chocolate and his weight. If he is an adult lab and ate 3 milk chocolate covered pretzels than it is probably not a concern. At 70lbs of body weight, he can eat about 30 average size peanut butter cups without suffering chocolate intoxication; however he may get gastro-intestinal problems such as diarrhea and pancreatitis. Fatty foods can give dogs pancreatitis, which can be life threatening. The best thing to do is take him into the vet to have vomiting induced to get rid of the peanut cups. If you chose not to do this, you need to watch him for vomiting, diarrhea, vomiting undigested food, lethargy, a loss of appetite, and vomiting water.
