My dog ate eggshells and has diarrhea. Should I be concerned?

Dog ate egg shells and has diarrhea. How concerned should I be?

Likely the eggshells are the cause of Luke's diarrhea. I wouldn't be too worried just yet, and I can give you a home remedy to try to see if that helps. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. Should the diarrhea continue on the bland diet, Luke starts vomiting, he stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, then I would be worried and have him seen by a vet.
