My 55lb dog ate Carprofen. Should I take her to the vet or watch?

In order to be extra cautious, I'd recommend feeding her a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken and white rice for a few days, then gradually mix it in with her normal food over 5-7 days. You can also call your vet to see if they can give a dose for an antacid, like Pepcid. (It's illegal for me to do so without having examined your dog.) If you see any vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, or blood in the stool, you should call your vet right away. I hope that everything goes well!

With NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) overdoses in dogs, the two things we're most concerned about are stomach ulcers and possible kidney damage. These usually occur with doses above 20 mg/kg, which for a 25 pound dog would be about 227 mg. Since Tootsie only got 50 mg total this morning (about 4.4 mg/kg), it's unlikely that you will see any serious issues related to this. To be safe, you should monitor her for the next 24 hours for any signs of a problem, such as vomiting, acting lethargic, or not eating. If you have any concerns, I would recommend taking her to an emergency clinic to be seen.

That dose of Carprofen would be pretty safe for Tadpole, so nothing to be worried about at this stage. I would recommend to continue to treat Sabrina with the sam dosage from the next one due of course.

Hades should be fine unless he is extremely sensitive. Monitor him very closely for any signs of GI upset or bleeding and have him examined if this is seen. Make sure to stick with the schedule as directed. I hope this helps.

Carprofen and Rimadyl are the SAME medication, she should not be taking both as she will overdose. Rimadyl should be given once or twice a day, not 3 times a day. i strongly recommend taking her to a vet ASAP in order to get her on the proper dosage before you make he serious health damage.
