I would expect that something like this would most likely pass through Gg’s gastrointestinal tract without a problem, however plastic can get stuck at any point. If you notice vomiting, diarrhea or a decreased appetite I’d recommend contacting your vet right away.

Hi there. If it was a small piece of a plastic bag, it's likely that this will pass through her system without causing any harm. As long as she is eating and drinking normally, active, and not vomiting, it should be fine to just monitor her for now. Most things pass through within 2-3 days.

If she stops wanting to eat, has repeated episodes of vomiting, or begins acting unusually lethargic, then I would recommend having her seen by your veterinarian for an exam and x-rays, as these can be signs of an intestinal blockage.

If it was small and skinny, hopefully it should pass without problem. You did exactly the right thing by giving Jim a piece of whole wheat bread. I would continue to give him a slice of whole wheat bread with each meal, and the plastic should pass in about 72 hours. You may see some blood in his feces if the plastic sticks the GI tract on it's way out, and if you do, I would take him into the vet just to be safe, but I think it should pass fine.

At this point, you can probably just monitor him and see how he does. We typically like to induce vomiting within an hour after eating the foreign material. Since he is acting fine and doesn't seem to be having problems then it may just pass through without a problem. You could call your vet and let them know that he ate something abnormal and make sure they don't want to examine him and/or take an x-ray. Hopefully, he chewed up the bag into smaller pieces and it will pass without a problem. Monitor for vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, and decreased appetite.

You can monitor her for signs of GI obstruction which would include vomiting, decreased appetite, abdominal pain, and lethargy. If these occur, then she should see her vet right away, but I don't expect that to occur with the small amounts she may have ingested, they will likely just pass through her GI tract. You can feed her something high in fiber to help the passing, such as a piece of whole wheat bread or a teaspoon or two of canned pumpkin.

If it was just a small piece of paper towel, it will likely pass through the intestinal tract without problems. Watch Gizmo's poop for the next 3-4 days and you should see it when it comes out. Should Gizmo get diarrhea and then vomiting, you need to take him to your vet for an exam as then the paper may have caused an obstruction. However, I think it will leave the body via the natural way.

I would be concerned that eating an entire bag of greenies could cause some digestive upset. I would watch out for issues such as vomiting, diarrhea, bloating, extreme pain, etc that could indicate severe GI upset and warrants a trip to your vet or ER clinic. Otherwise, picking up Roscoe's food for several hours and then feeding a bland meal of boiled chicken and rice may help with any minor tummy upset.

It could cause him some issues but there is no way to predict that. I suggest you just monitor him closely for any abnormal signs like vomiting, not wanting to eat, extreme lethargy, abdominal pain, etc. If you notice any of those then get him to your vet right away. My dog ate treats from a bag, now vomiting and diarrhea. Is she okay?

If she did not eat the plastic baggie then she should probably be fine. Her symptoms should be self-limiting (meaning they should resolve on their own in 24-36 hours). If she actually ingested the baggie then I would be a bit concerned that it is causing an obstruction. If she ate the baggie, I think a vet visit is in order. The diarrhea is not as concerning as the vomiting. I would recommend you hold her off food for 8 hours to give her GI tract a rest. If after 8 hours there is no more vomiting, then you can start feeding her. Small feedings of her regular diet every few hours for a couple days. You can also add in probiotic (one made for dogs, not humans). You can pick up a probiotic at your local Petco or any large pet store. Other than the probiotic do not give any medications.
