My dog ate bagels and stomach is making weird noises. Should I worry?

You should definitley monitor him for any abnormal signs like bloating, vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, or abdominal discomfort. They might pass through with no problem but he could get some gastritis/enteritis from eating so many at once. Have him examined by a vet if you notice anything abnormal.

The most that will likely happen is he may have some diarrhea. Just keep an eye on him and if he starts vomiting or has severe diarrhea then you should take him to your vet for an exam. I'd without food for tonight, and keep a close eye on him. If you see pacing, anxiety, restlessness, trying to vomit but can't, and excessive drooling, take him into an ER vet right away. Otherwise, feed him his normal breakfast in the morning. I hope this helps!

If she is resting quietly, not vomiting, and having no breathing issues then she is probably fine for you to just monitor her now. I strongly suggest you don't feed her anything for 24 hours but make sure she has plenty of water available to drink. If she is having any troubles then she needs to go to the emergency vet. I would fast him for 24 hours and let him digest the donuts he ate. He may develop dietary indiscretion, pancreatitis, etc. If he begins to vomit and become lethargic, then I would take him in to be seen by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate treatments recommendations can be made. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! It sounds like Minka is experiencing a simple food bloat (stomach is big and full of food). I recommend NOT feeding her until tomorrow, only small sips of water and walk her every 2-4 hours until bedtime. If she starts non-productively retching, appears restless or painful, pacing, won't lie down then she should go to the closest emergency room. If none of those things happen then she should be fine. If he stomach looks normal size tomorrow morning then resume her normal feeding schedule with her normal food. Good luck!

If she did not eat the plastic baggie then she should probably be fine. Her symptoms should be self-limiting (meaning they should resolve on their own in 24-36 hours). If she actually ingested the baggie then I would be a bit concerned that it is causing an obstruction. If she ate the baggie, I think a vet visit is in order. The diarrhea is not as concerning as the vomiting. I would recommend you hold her off food for 8 hours to give her GI tract a rest. If after 8 hours there is no more vomiting, then you can start feeding her. Small feedings of her regular diet every few hours for a couple days. You can also add in probiotic (one made for dogs, not humans). You can pick up a probiotic at your local Petco or any large pet store. Other than the probiotic do not give any medications.
