My dog ate B12 vitamins. Should I be worried about overdose?

Pet's info: Dog | Golden Labrador | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 1 month old | 50 lbs

Hi, my dog just ate about 5 to 7 B12 tablets.... She is 2 years old (labrador/staford mix) and weighs about 23 kg. Should i be worried? tablet info: per tablet: *vitamin B12 1000µg *vitamin B8 300µg *vitamin B6 6mg

Hello,

I do not believe you need to worry. Vitamin B is water soluble and therefore, in theory, any excess should be urinated out. I would recommend monitoring her for the day. If she experiences any drastic changes in behavior or appetite, she should be seen by a veterinarian.
