My dog ate avocados and is coughing them up. Is it dangerous?

My dog has been eating avocados in my backyard is it bad for her because she often tries to cough it up

Avocados are not safe for dogs. They cause vomiting, diarrhea and lack of stool production. Since avocados also are high in fat they can cause pancreatitis. It is best not to let your dog eat avocados, ie remove all avocados from your garden or put a muzzle on your dog while he is in the garden.

    A small piece will likely cause no harm. Excessive amounts may cause stomach upset or even pancreatitis. If your dog has never had it, try a tiny bit and monitor for any negative reactions. You can read more about avocado at the link below.
